Burning Crusade

3/9/2010
- Spells used by the "Silithid Caretakers" and "Silithid Caretaker Supervisors" have been modified. Players should find battling these two mobs to be much, much easier.
- "Innervate" has been added to the global trainer for Druids.
- New characters no longer start with extra Hearthstones.
3/6/2010
- After heavy deliberation, several major problematic class skills have been disabled: the Warrior's "Intimidating Shout," the Warlock's "Fear" and "Howl of Terror," the Priest's "Psychic Scream," and the Rogue's "Blind." We have done our best over the last several months to try and fix vmaps so that players do not sometimes fall through the floor when these abilities are used on them, but unfortunately we have not been successful. Given this fact we feel it is better to have these spells disabled and accept a certain amount of player disatisfaction. Players are asked to not open tickets concerning this matter unless they have a legitimate question. The main reason we believe this is the right thing to do is that the realm's mechanics provide for combat that is very different from retail. These spells are not necessary to any player to be victorious in battle, and one could debate that they are nothing more than crutch tools, even on retail realms. We understand that this may have upset some players, but we also know that more players are happy than upset about this update.
- Several new item rewards have been added to the Mark of Honor Ambassador. Also, some existing item rewards have been slightly updated.
3/3/2010
- The zone "The Depths of Discord" has received a small makeover. The quest now has a required level of 74 and yields 2 Relics of the League as an extra reward. Physical damage dealt as well as HP values of trash mobs and bosses have been significantly increased. Respawn rates of the bosses have been lowered, but respawn rates of trash mobs have been increased. Abilities used by trash mobs and bosses have not been changed.
- Daily battleground quests now provide 2 Relics of the League, down from 5.
- "Vyann Venomsting" is now labeled as a boss and not just an elite. The quest "We Are Not Alone" now provides 3 Relics of the League in addition to an item choice reward.
2/21/2010
- Availability of the item "Swiftness of Zanza" has been removed."
- The spell "Holy Form" has been removed from the item "Conqueror's Ownage Pigstick."
2/18/2010
- Certain bosses, such as Armageddon and Killbot 2.0, now have enrage timers.
- Melee critical strike rating values on the items "Conqueror's Lavender Shroud" and "Conqueror's Perennial Shroud" have been properly updated to spell critical strike values. Players must delete their cache files in order to view the changes correctly.
2/13/2010
- The Druid spell "Nature's Swiftness" has been disabled due to an unfixable exploit. We apologize to anyone who plays a Druid, but it is better than leaving the exploit itself unchanged.
- The donator spell item "Faerie Dragon Form" has been replaced with a new donator spell item, "Spell Shield."
2/12/2010
- Many armor values of various set items and non-set items have been updated. Please note that to see the updated armor values on equipment the player must delete their WoW cache files, though the character sheet will properly reflect each character's updated armor stats. Armor values for the custom item creator have been changed accordingly as well.
- Spirit healers should no longer attack NPCs or player targets. If they do for some reason, the damage will no longer instantly kill the target.
2/7/2010
- PvP titles will now be awarded at the end of each week of rated arena.
- V.I.P. status commands have been updated due to excessive complaining about their abuse in battlegrounds and arenas. V.I.P. status now costs $14.95 instead of $49.95, and all players with existing V.I.P. status accounts have been credited with 10000 item points.
2/2/2010

All players have had their arena points reset to 0 as part of the update, and the new arena battlemasters/vendors/NPCs can be found just outside the Shopping Mall.

11/30/2009
- The item "Doom Idol of the Horrific Eye" has been updated: stamina has been increased, but the item no longer has an on-use spell reflect feature.
11/23/2009
- The range of an AoE poison spell used by "Killplenty Lurkers" has been greatly reduced.
11/20/2009
- The quest "Leutori the Maneater" has been updated once more. The boss has been relocated to a seperate area in Tanaris which is accessible from a new portal that is present where Leutori the Maneater once stood in Shadowmoon Valley. The change was to prevent players from pulling the boss into Shopping Mall guards.
- Melee damage of the the Horde and Alliance Hearthglen bosses have been significantly reduced. Their whirlwind attacks are still devastating and are best avoided.
- Winter Veil and the Christmas holiday celebrations have begun!
- A problem with Winter Veil presents becoming 'bugged' and unable to be looted has been mostly corrected. We cannot completely solve the issue, unfortunately, but we will be restarting the realm once a night to ensure that any bugged presents get refreshed at least once every 24 hours. We ask that players take EVERYTHING they find in a present.

11/12/2009
- Some missing class spells have been added to the global trainers, including all of the necessary Hunter pet spells and two rank 1 Priest spells.
- The Stromgarde Battlefront has been respawned with slightly less mobs than before. The zone is now much more "cleaned up" and easier to navigate. Also, getting to close to an enemy faction taskmaster/questgiver will result in teleportation to the Shopping Mall.
11/11/2009
- Hearthglen is now a static adventuring zone (similar to Stromgarde Battlefront) featuring constantly-updated reward items. Unfortunately, Hearthglen event battles will no longer be taking place, but the carnage of Hearthglen combat will continue forever through the new repeatable quests.

11/9/2009
- In an effort to deal with the issue of players using hacks to duplicate items, most bags have been removed from the database. You may notice that some or all of your bags have been converted to a 36-slot bag. All vendors, quests, and loot tables have also been modified so that no bags are attainable except 36-slot bags. It is recommended that players delete their cache files with WoW closed to ensure they are seeing all bags correctly.
